In Security Mode, the camera sends an email with a short video attached to up to three recipients whenever it detects motion in its field of view. But Motion Sensor won't detect at least one meter. if something moving within two FEET. It might detect. If you looking for wireless Ip camera with motion detection option, This is not the one. If some body steel anything in your home. Thief should come closer to camera. Other wise you have to put recording always option.
Think you have only admin account and you didn't setup any user accounts.
Security issue is If somebody open the camera through the web(using your Ip address), They can watch your video. This is so bad. Definitely you have to create another user account to activate Security access mode. (This all base on with Firmware: v1.0.01 build 00)
I found many wireless camera out there. They work very well with motion detection. Most of them have 10 motion trigger levels. But if I use it out side it will catch the motion of moving trees and grasses. Therefore we have to decrease trigger level accordingly
